How to Get on the ABA Waitlist

Your child must have a definitive diagnosis of Autism (F84.0) to receive ABA Therapy services.
A diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from one of the following providers:

A. Pediatric Neurologist or Neurologist
B. Developmental Pediatrician
C. Licensed Psychologist
D. Psychiatrist or Neuropsychiatrist
E. Other Licensed Physician experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of ASD; OR
F. An Interdisciplinary Team composed of a Licensed Psychologist, Physician, Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN)



Send or give a copy of your child's comprehensive diagnostic evaluation from one of the above identified professionals. The comprehensive diagnostic evaluation must include complete medical and social history AND be based on criteria outlined in the DSM-V or most current version of DSM for ASD and/or include scores from the use of diagnostic tests such as: The Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2), Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) or other tools with acceptable psychometric properties. The diagnosis/testing must be no older than 2 years old at the onset of receiving ABA services.



If child does not have a diagnosis of Autism (F84.0) from any of the providers above, ask for a copy of our Pediatric Diagnostic Testing Referral List. Child will only be added to the ABA Waitlist once the psych evaluation or evaluation from the above listed providers has been received by Soaring on Hope.
