Pediatric Speech Language PathologistJob Description Soaring on Hope Pediatric Therapy Center is an outpatient pediatric facility located in Tulsa, OK. We are looking for a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team! Job Summary: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with motor, sensory, perceptual and/or cognitive impairments affecting functional independence and active participation in daily living. The PRN OT evaluates, plans, and executes the patient's treatment program and is expected to follow Soaring On Hope’s mission and vision, and demonstrate values when administering departmental services and fulfilling patient and family needs. Schedule: We have 2 Positions Open. One position is Full-Time and the Other Position Will Start with Part-Time Hours and Will Transition to Full-Time Hours. Monday-Friday, Day Shift, No Nights or Weekends. Pay: Depending on Experience. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Clinical Responsibilities: Implement treatment plan as developed by the licensed occupational therapist. Collaborate with the licensed occupational therapist on an agreed upon frequency to assess and reassess patient’s plan of care, treatment goals and interventions. Document patient progress in daily notes and progress notes, as well as contribute recommendations to the patient’s discharge note from occupational therapy. Attend regular team meetings Assists with guidance for clinical fieldwork students under the supervision of the occupational therapist Report on interventions and patient progress during assigned meetings and contributes to the evaluation process. Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to update the patient’s plan of care when deemed necessary. Complete timely documentation in accordance with departmental policies, best practices, state and federal rules and guidelines, and applicable standards of care.
